RIGOR MORTIS Midnight Madness Premiere Interview with JUNO MAK
Last night was the North American premiere of Juno Mak's directorial debut RIGOR MORTIS. It was a very rainy and humid night which very much felt like a Hong Kong evening. Robert A. Mitchell spoke with Juno about his first film as a director, influences and, of course, those hopping vampires from Hong Kong's glorious golden age of cinema.

Video: ALMOST HUMAN World Premiere Interviews
ALMOST HUMAN had it's world premiere last night. It was reported that the last that was seen of Robert A. Mitchell was just prior to numerous reports of a bluish beam of the light from the sky that washed out the red carpet in bluish hues. Attempts to reach him have proven fruitless, however, this footage of interviews with the director Joe Begos and his cast and crew was uploaded from an disclosed location.

AFFLICTED Midnight Madness World Premiere Interviews
Video: OCULUS World Premiere Interviews
OCULUS the new film from director Mike Flanagan had it's world premiere at Midnight Madness Sunday night. If you like a creepy, get under your skin, thoughtful horror film that weaves a story I can truthfully say this film delivered the goods. The film is deeply affective, foreboding atmospheric work that shows a craftsmanship seldom seen in most horror films or most films for that matter.
Here is Robert A. Mitchell's interviews with Mike, one of the composers and the cast.

Video: Eli Roth Phones Dad To Sing Happy Birthday At World Premiere
Eli Roth may make really fucked-up and disturbing movies but is really a big teddy bear at heart. Here is Robert A. Mitchell's video of Eli phoning his dad to wish him a happy 75th birthday from the Midnight Madness stage at the world premiere of THE GREEN INFERNO. It's moments like these that truly make Midnight Madness so magical and special.
Video: Bobcat Goldthwait Tells Audience Turn Off Their Mother@#$ing Cellphones!
We have all been there -- in movie theater -- totally engrossed in a film when some schmuck pulls out his/her cellphone and that tiny rectangular object's bluish illumination dominates your focus and your eyes automatically darts over to this new light source and you miss a key plot point or a cool line of dialogue. No matter how many countless warnings Midnight Madness programmer Colin Geddes has issued from the stage, no matter how many cute little bumpers prior to a film starting to turn off cellphones the inevitable ALWAYS happens and some douche pulls out their cellphone. With social graces in public spaces getting totally out of hand, Colin enlisted a Midnight Madness alumni director Bobcat Goldthwait to give a little demonstration on how to turn off a phone.
