This is an animated gif showing a rising "bravery level", complete with Mountain Dew, Cheetos, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Gabe Newell. The term "so brave" originated from the social news and entertainment website Reddit.com. Basically, whenever somebody voices and opinion that they know is highly popular, somebody will respond by sarcastically accusing the poster of being brave (i.e. It was incredibly brave of you to post such a controversial and earth-shattering opinion). On Reddit, there are so-called circlejerks where people will repeat the same popular opinion ad nauseam, leading to accusations that these places (namely politics and atheism related subreddits) are mindless echo chambers that are shallow in interesting content, but nauseously high in confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance.
